What would the power to weight ratio be for a 260bhp C20LET corsa any ideas?
I thought its bhp/weight
260/1100 (guestimate for weight) = 0.23
I know the c20let corsas have a good power to weight ratio but have I worked it out properly?
And also what would it be in comparison to other (More expensive) cars
i.e 'My car has the same power to weight ratio as a........'

standard corsa Gsi is 960kp per tonne so your 1100 might not be far off so your be looking at around 236 bhp per tonne
a english spec subaru impreza turbo 2000 spec is 186 bhp per tonne

Graham, your bike aint 160kg Maybe DRY...
600's (even though the R6 is down in the 163kg region), thats without any fuel, battery, any liquids....
An R6 08 bike "wet" will weigh around 185-195kg.
Even a 1000cc SS will be over 200kg wet. Morelike 210+kg.
A motoGP bike only weighs about 155kg wet, so your ZX6 aint no-where near that fella Not unless its got magnesium engien casings, carbon bodywork, carbon tank etc..
Dads Benellie LE (900cc Triple), FULL carbon bike, lightweight wiring quick release loom, FULL titanium exhaust, magnesium engine casing, carbon tank, tail, fairing, everything. Theres only 150, all built for WSB homolglomation. Still weighs 180kg wet.....

I haven't got an R6, why would I want one of those shitters
http://www.motorbikes.be/en/Kawasaki/2003/ZX-6R/
Weight at the bottom, doesn't say a wet weight. I only ride it in the dry anyway
Yes I'm joking.

No, you've got a ZX-6, which is a lot heavier than a modern day R6 (as a comparison)
We can wish out bikes we're that light, but they aint no RS250's
Manufactures often lie.

AStra VXR is about 172bhp per tonne
Which is about right i'd say. Figures seem fairly accurate too, 6.3 0-60 (6.2 book), 14.5 @ 97mph 1/4 mile, and i've seen standard ones doing a 14.7.
