yes, just like when someone buys a corsa then sells it for another corsa.
he obviously loved the car so wanted another one.

Waste of time imo. Fair enough clean your car, but thats just ott imo. Maybe go a bit wild before a show or something, but not just for a random clean. Would piss myself if that bike fell off the wall though

Still looking at pictures.
But what strikes me is, its evident hes a perfectionist BUT hes changing things on a limited edtion car Going against the whole point of buying the car in the first place surely?

I have never understood the whole 'shining of various different types of light' onto the bodywork to detect 'blemishes'
if you cant see it with the naked eye does it really matter?

he would need to take 25 individual readings from each panel to build up a 3d picture in his head of how he would tackle this....He also told me the data would be loaded into a laptop after all readings were taken..

you really don't understand this do you? do you think he does that every time he washes the car? he's done it as soon as he got the car so that in future, whenever he washes it normally it will still look awesome.
whereas mine and your cars will start getting shitty after washing and washing, his will still look just like that every time he throws a bucket of water over the paintwork.
he's protecting his investment. you don't buy a house and then leave the door open for thieves do you

the paint bluufing and head light bluffing is fine i think as the paint will always look good when washed but $1000 dollar waxing and very clean water is just a waste of time and money

i agree the water is also silly but hey, he likes it so let him do it.
he may laugh as people spending money on corsa's but if that's your passion then thats great. better than spending money on drugs and booze.
