Won't be the worlds most expensive car will it?
I thought the convertible veyron was going to cost about £1.3 mil.
Doesn't look like a £1.2 million pound car.
Not that interested really.

Annoying thing is I can render much better than that, they should have given me a job. The bastards.

It doesn't look £1.1million different to a DB9 though, does it. And the wheels look like those wanky TSW ones.

Plenty of cars sell for more than that.

This is probably worth ALOT more... An Auto Union D-Type. There was a programme on Discovery about it, but a discrepancy prevented a sale at auction concluding.

Bram, those were the ones I was thinking of
Didn't some Fastcar reader design them for a competition or something?

The veyron is a piece of shit, ooh lets spend 5 million making a car thats faster than the speed of sound, yet we wont let it loose on a track as it wont corner, its not an all round car.

Why does that make it a 'piece of shit', and what is an all rounder? It's a GT car, and I'm pretty sure it would set a pretty damn good time around the Top Gear test track, if that's what you're moaning about.

They know it wont set a good time, thats why they wont let it go round the track, they don't want to be upstaged by the other cars as they want it to perceive the image that it's the best car ever.

I think they know that people wont understand that just because it is/was the most powerful production car available doesn't make it the fastest. But anyhow, it is such a niche product, why do they car what the general public think about it. I know that if I was making cars that cost €1,000,000 I would only be bothered about what the people who can afford my car, and not the general public who couldn't even dream of affording my car, think. I would also hope those people knew what the car is for.

the aston is not designed to be the fastest car ever, but it will be one the most bespoke production cars to date. The custom can pick from thousands of different colours, materials, spec, interior design.
Plenty of call for that sort of car, and being an Aston will mean it will sell out very quickly if not already.

It's interesting how Aston Martin are so profitable at the moment. They are even starting up another car brand who are due to be releasing a concept some time next year...

sorry but you have never even drove a veyron, just like me, so you can't comment about it not handling.
would you let a racing driver take your £800,000 car out for a drive to try and set the lap record? especially seeing as the stig has crashed a few cars...
