Any one no the age you need to be to insure a vtr with direct line?

Directline I seem to remember won't quote on 1.6 or over until you're 21

Well i rang to get a quote on a 1.6 corsa sport said i need to be 19 whichi am and they gave me a quote any ways i rang today to get a quote for a vtr as im going to be getting one well hopfully, they turned around and said 22 and 2ncb :-? thing is i didnt give here a reg i said saxo vtr 1.6 8v and she said any more information as iv got quite a long list of cars and then said oh i think iv got it followed by need to be 22 hopeing she's got it wrong and tried a vts by accident, jut wondered if any one new?

my astra is a 1.8 insurance group 8 car (i think) and i'm only 20 so seems a bit strange???

i could insure a 2.0 cavalier at 20 yers old cheaper then i could insure a 1.4 corsa sport, figure that one out?

i have trouble with directline, im 20 and cnt get insured on a audi a3 1.8t (group 12) but i can get insure on a polo gti which is group 12
i cnt insure a nice car i can afford really until im 22 or 23

Do an online quote. It'll tell you if they won't cover you on it.

they were funny about me being insured on my 1.6 when i got it, was 18 and they said as it was a 'sports car' they wouldnt insure me until i was 19. luckily i had a years no claims and was close to my 19th they let me off.
although i was insured on my moms 2 litre rover earlier this year for 2 weeks while on hols no problem at all.
can be very picky if you ask me

This is what i mean the corsa sport is higher insurence group bigger engine ect and there fine with it but vtr and they say that going to ring them now and see what they say, fingers crost she got it wrong

try churchill if you are going to keep it standard. Try Endsleigh too, no one else could get near their price for my golf (I pay 2k, other quotes were 3.5k)
