Do I need to have a Spare Wheel by law / for an MOT?

I got pulled today and they checked over my car...

- No Spare Wheel
- Horn don’t work
- I need to "tone down" the exhaust
- Change my plates

Had no idea you needed a horn or a spare wheel

Was only a matter of time until I got stopped for the plates though I suppose. It wasn’t the traffics though, was just normal police I think, didn’t get any slips, just a warning to get it fixed.

Since there was SO MUCH WRONG apparently the traffics would have taken my car off the road there and then! And no pink slip chances! Straight to court!

Would only go on the back as the normal one wouldn’t go over the v6s. Don’t really have the cash to go buy another alloy just now. Got that tyre foam can thing though, and break down cover.

sounds like the usual scare mongering.

Get the plates done, ignore the rest they are just being cunts.

you don't need a spare wheel.

but if you have one, it must have a legal tyre on it.
