Has anyone dyno`d a corsa 1.6 16v before and after fitting one of those mantzel power caps? i read somewhere it adds around 15bhp? is this correct? and also, how much are they?

Mantzel inlet manifold.

15BHPish, depending on mods you have on there at the moment.

Replicas are a couple of hundred quid and do the job just as well. Have a look in the classifieds.

They add about 10bhp on there own.
My replica box added 9bhp

Generally yes, but,
To get the best from the engine can get expensive
manifold
cams and verniers
arp rod bolts
metal rollers
remap and rev limiter rise

Just a basic

how much do you think those would cost as a whole?
where i used to work, we stripped out nova`s put a bucket seat in and a roll cage, then we sent the engines off to be blueprinted.. that seemed to work wonders, cost about a grand! also in other classes of autograss, a nice red top engine, they really did used to shift in a nova with all the back end chopped out and re-made with steel tubing

Well worth getting one. Ive had mine fitted about a month and the car changed alot.
