people give you abuse for no apparent reason

I'd been out for a drive earlier on and on my way back I was coming off the M6 onto the M58 and as I went onto the M58 slip road, a Vectra that I'd overtook just before leaving the M6 started to overtake me and as I looked round the couple in it were giving me the wanker sign and all the rest of it

I hadn't done anything wrong unless they're offended by heel & toe gear changes then they hooned off down the motorway with me wondering wtf was going on

Tbh tho, they looked like a pair of chavs driving a Vectra with Lexus lights, you can't help but feel sorry for em really

this is the time when a c20let corsa is needed, show them who's boss.........also throw a petrol bomb through there window, there might still be a sort of wanker sign still there but it would most likely be them wafting out the flames

it's when you use your toes on the brakes and use your heel to blip the throttle so it gives a smoother gear change whilst slowing down

well it's really the bit behind your toes really but still the heel for the throttle, but it's still called heel and "toe"

When you're down changing you blip the throttle with your heel, whilst braking with your toes, although it's more one side of my foot on the brake, the other side on the throttle, my heels to far down to get the accelerator

Unless you were making swift progress round the roundabout why were you doing heel toe changes anyway?

i would say it stabilises the car on braking aswell, instead of the sudden deceleration of changing down without doing it

I dont heel toe on the road, probably quite dangerous, I match the engine revs just dont leave half my foot over the brake.

double declutching is only used on old cars with no syncromesh.
it's when you have to put clutch in, put in neutral, release clutch, put in clutch, rev to match gear speed, put in next gear down.......now that would be quite annoying to do all the time

I went round a corner last week, a car was was on the other side of the road also going round the corner. the dozey cow obviously can't turn a car properly and came on to my side whilst going round and shoulted through her window like I'd pulled out on her! Bearing in mind it was her that was turning onto the main road!

Why heel and toe on public roads in everyday driving?

Too lazy to do it the correct and recognised way?
