Only went for the Saturday,

Managed to see

The Duke Spirit
One Night Only
Get Cape Wear Cape Fly
Dizee Rascal
Taking Back Sunday
Biffy Clyro
The Enemy
The Fratellis
Queens Of The Stone Age
Rage Against The Machine

Biffy Clyro, The Enemy and The Fratellis were

Not really a rage fan but Tom Morrello is awesome, more an Audioslave fan.

Several pints of Tuborg, cheese burger etc, got picked up in a Nissan Largo 4wd people carrier Pimpin'!

Severely burnt now

Was there on Friday. Saw:

Metalllica
Tenacious D
Dropkick Murphys
Pendulum
The Music
Plain White T's
Alexisonfire
Mindless Self Indulgence

Have to say Pendulum totally blow the day apart. Slipknot cancelled and would have clashed, because of this the whole of leeds went to the smaller tent to watch the show and they killed it

I didn't see any trouble, I found it less commercial than last time I went (2001) but Temple Newsam is defiantley a better venue.

yeah, fucking madness i was camped in the white campsite and there was zero rioting due to the ridiculous amount of mud that was left i walked down through the blue campsite to the red one at piccadilly circus at about 4am and the word i would use to describe it is apocolyptic. burnt down tents, downed poles and shit, fires everywhere and random explosions. i was so glad i wasn't camped in that area

That's my problem i would love to go for the weekend but all this rioting on the last night would put me right off. How's the best way to avoid it?

theres no real trick to avoiding it, i've been lucky both times i've been to avoid it. last year i got away with it, and this year i went to where i camped last year and there were loads of tents on fire, so it really is random where it happens

only 100% way of doing it is leave after the bands finish on the sunday. its not THAT bad though, don't let it put you off going, the rest of it is worth losing abit of sleep on the last night for.

aye, i think the outer fringes get away pretty lightly. it tends to be more central where the riots are
