Said he pulled me for my exhaust being too loud but he soon wondered off that subject as I know its not and so did he I think. Anyway he was being a right cock (speaking down at me and just generally trying to pick faults with my car)

Ended up giving me a producer but I have 2 problems:

(1) my address on my insurance is different to that on my licence as I have recently movered house and didnt want to change my licenece address yet because my tax is due soon so left my parents address on it. Is this going to be a problem? when he asked my address I gave my parents house.

(2) cant find my MOT certificate. Is is correct that I can go to any test station and get a new one for £10?

I think you have to go to the MOT station you had it done at.

Replacing lost or damaged MOT certificates

If you have lost or damaged your MOT certificate, you can obtain a duplicate from any MOT Testing Station.

You’ll need to provide the vehicle registration mark and either the original MOT test number or document reference number (shown on the V5C registration certificate issued by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency).

The maximum fee for a duplicate certificate for a car is £10.00.

Just go to the police station asap and explain why theres to address's. Failing that, you'll just have to change it.
