Driving through town just an hour ago I was passing the local Renault garage & saw a Silver M3 sitting on the forecourt, done an about turn & went for a look, 02 plate, 2 previous owners only 51k miles, mint condition, except wheels a bit tatty, £12995. Went in to enquire but its been sold, however the salesman said the guy thats bought it is needing finance & he thinks theres a good chance he'll be declined. So took my details & said he'd phone in the week to let me know whats happening.
Apparently the M3 was traded in for a bog standard megan

Left him my number to phone me back before Friday, as im off on holiday after that.
Its got me excited.....probably sold though but I may still have a chance at it!!
Thought it was odd them having it in as they've never got anything flash in the forecourt.

Cheapest M3 within 100 miles of me on Autotrader is 14995. There was one on at 11 but it has 97k. This one i should get for not much more than 12000.

This one looks like a good car, its got low miles, low owners, fsh & is on a franchise dealer forecourt. You dont see many like that!!

Only let down is its got 18's & their a bit scabby...................so 1st purchase would be a set of 19" CSL alloys.
Oh & its got no TV....Robbo can bite me

Make sure it has the 1200/1400 mile running in service.
Even if it has all the other stamps, BMW can't sell it as an Approved Used Vehicle.
BMW, especially with an M3 are normally pretty good in terms of engine warranty, however if it hasn't had that service, then they won't touch it. Something to do with the seals and shit.

Was looking at the price of these myself the other day, prices have dropped right down along with any other performance cars, good time to buy 
Bet your already looking at alternative M3's though incase this one falls through

Im not actually, just this one as its local & looks all round good, im away on holiday for 2 weeks so if I buy it i'll not be collecting it until 15th Sept
Your right though E46 M3's are becoming really really affordable now...deffo the next buy for me.
