Yeah VFR400 is also one of the better 400's to get. Plenty of parts but also on the downside getting a lot harder to track down a nice example. Plenty have been bounced, raced, owned by numpties. Maybe join a forum like http://www.400greybike.cc/newforum/ and buy one off a member etc..

insurance is gonna cost me the best part of 500 on a vfr

love my vfr tbh, reccomended, though there 20 years old now, so expect to look at dogs

if you get a vfr 400 then go for the vfr nc30, but the fastest 400 is the zxr400

im sure any 400 will be plenty quick for me tbh

vfrs definately tend to tick alot of boxs, would like an original one tho

When I passed all the quotes for bikes like bandit 600s were in the £600 region. What I got was an Yamaha FJ1200 off a mate, and insurance was £290 partly because of its age ('88). It's a fair bit faster than a bandit as well haha!

NC30 looks the best though

My first bike, 17, just passed test, £680 TPFT.
