Has anyone ever got the LED bulbs from Maplin or anywhere else?

Im after blue ones, theres a company on ebay who do a ''kit'' but there going for 8pounds just for a few blue LED bulbs which is stupid.

Just wondering if i can get the LED's from anywhere else cheaper.

Right...

for the mfd clock you need 2x http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=114&products_id=460

for the heater controls 3x http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=114&products_id=539

and it depends on your clocks.. its either 2x http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=114&products_id=595
for none rev counter

or iirc 3x http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=114&products_id=539
for rev counter dials

and then headlight switches
http://www.crazyleds.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=124&products_id=538

hope that helps

Don't bother. I had them behind my heater controls and MFD. The MFD ones were really temperamental due to ill fitting bulbs, resulting in low voltage and the LEDs flickering. Then I could hardly see the heater controls.

Standard yellow all the way.

The ones behind the heater consoles were ok, just really dim. It only really lit up when going down country roads i.e. no street lamps.

I don't doubt people have got them to work, I mean I've seen the pics. But the ones I had, were rubbish.

good luck. At least yours is pre-1997 and has easier access for the heater console bulbs, as per the Haynes manual.
