Just after a bit of advice/information.
I work at a dealership with little parking so were made to park in a secure compound and driven back down the road to work..
now if we want to go out at dinner we have to blag a lift to our cars and when we come back we park down the lane next to my work as there is no one usually around to drive us back after.
This lane is a country lane.. verges and hedges both sides, so when we park we park as far on the verge as possible usually leaving just the passenger side wheels sticking out on the road..
now theres plenty of room to get past, no double yellow lines or anything at all
but someone has complained to my boss and now were being told if we park there the police will be called and our cars will be removed.
Is this actually legal? are we parking in the wrong?

Nothing illegal there, as long as your not parking into the flow of traffic

Yes you have to respect the law, but it's also polite to respect your neighbours too. If there's been a complaint then your boss is probably acting in the interests of his business asking you to park elsewhere.
I doubt the Police will remove your cars though.

it literally is in the middle of no where ed..
The only thing on that road is a house and a derelict looking farm oposite.. its not like we park outside them either...
We park at least 10 metres down from them
Edit:
Poor paint diagram
We usually park that far down so that our cars can be seen from the upper loading doors that are open all day for lifting parts in and out

Hmm, weird for people to complain about that. But people complain about anything really, especially old badgers. Can you not park on a different road for a little while, or even alternate, to try and shut them up.
