It's nothing to do with spelling, it's not written or said as vauxhalls, it's vauxhall.

Is it bad to get a garage to service the car properly with a vauxhall service pack but get it stamped by someone who works at vauxhall?
The work will be done by an ex vaux mechanic but i prefer the price of £80 tbh not £250 if i took it to the dealership garage.

My mate did mine the other day. Bollocks to paying £425 to Peugeot when the parts cost £60

That was for new front brakes too.

I wouldnt bother/dont bother tbh.

On the age/value of the car youd be better forgetting the fsh & just keeping ontop of the maintenance either at a cheap independant garage or just yourself.

I get mines done in VW from a VW technician - £70 for a minor service (oil & filters etc, also checked over to see if anything else needs done!)

I'll save on the servicing & sell the car a few hundred quid cheaper when I come to sell.

Your FSH wont be worth what its cost you to maintain when you come to sell the car!!

For example if I get my next 3 services done myself/cheapo i'll save around £400. When I come to sell my car its going to be old (2002) not worth a great deal, so i'll be happy to lower the price a few hundered because its not got FSH.......what it does have is a folder full of reciepts detailing whats been done & when.........ive saved money, the works been done!!

If the car was >6yrs old, worth <10k id move differently!!
