Iv been looking at an Audi A4 1.9 TDI 130. I know you with remaps on diesels you normally get a lot more torque but what are they on this engine and how much roughly are they?

Cheers

I have a 1.9 (130) engine in Skoda Fabia.

Jumped from 130bhp/229ft/lb to 190bhp/290ft/lb. For £500.

I'd imagine they are the same engines, 60bhp isn't bad though. Is it one that is easy to change between maps if you were to sell it?

Yeah, I paid a bit extra and got the switchable facility from standard to mapped. Which is quite good I use it relatively often, in winter the remapped torque can be a bit of a FWD hand full!

I believe the are identical engines yeah. The 130 VW PD engine.

Ive heard good things about the bluefin remapper tool. I have a 1.6 fiesta MK6 Zetec S TDCI and the gains are hugearese (so they claim). RS TUNING are the best for a proper custom live deisel remap though.

Oh and RS tuning can put the map on a SP3 box so you can use it like a bluefin. Will cost around £550 for that.

I might be getting my 2.0DTi astra done, been talking with SteveX16XE for the past few days about it. They arent brilliant engines for this, unlike the CDTI's, for example the Astra150 remaps from 150 - 200 bhp and the torque goes up to over 300 i think

The DTi's are a little more coonservative, seeing a jump from 98-130ish bhp and 169 only goes up to 180ish

I'd be looking for 190BHP and 300lb/ft torque from mine is I have it done. Concidering a Dave A one with an Eco/Normal/Power option.

You might want to look into uprating the clutch depending what torque it produces after the remap. I think around 300lb/ft is the limit

148 standard ist uncommon tbh. seen lots of these engines make stupidly high standard figures.
