Its not really good though is it lol, considering they used to be way below £1 litre. This is the governments way of making us "happy". Raise it fuck loads, piss us all off, then lower it a small amount so we smiling about it again.

"The Government" has had nothing to do with prices tailing off again, more of a price war between the supermarkets/shell/bp/esso etc.

I might be wrong but..

$200 is predictions by market analysts (by some of the big investment banks that do this for a living) based on the situation a few weeks ago?

Back then oil was getting more expensive because of lots of factors, far east expanding, lack of space for crops to make biofuels, greedy oil traders and people pushing up the price of oil on the futures market. Then the people who actually own the oil realised they could take the piss and didn't lower prices to help us out, then recession talk came back and oil started to die down because no bastard will be able to afford it at this rate - Oil markets are riddled with cunts at computer screens/trading floors pushing it up for their own profit!

For fuel prices to come down significantly, the price per barrel needs to drop more than $30. Last I heard was it needed to be below $100 a barrel for anyone to get any real savings at the pump.

Mayhap but that shouldnt be the case when fuel companies up the price by a penny everytime a barrel goes up by a few dollars, whcih they ahve been doing, then when it goes down they dont give an equivalent drop

people Moan it is to much, now we moan its not gone down enough.

at least i can fill it up with £15 here and there and see the needle move that bit more so its better than prices going up and up.

but i reckon it will go up again soon.
