Bought this about a month ago. Completly standard, 35,000 miles in very good condition for its age. Its a 1.820vT

I drove it for about a week as it was, very happy as it was alot nicer to drive than my old corsa c. Then managed to get a good deal on some bumpers, bonnet and grille.

The bumpers are gti items with anniversary splitters smoothed in. The rear bumper has the exhaust cut out smoothed. The front bumper and bonnet have had the baged recess smoothed out and there is a FK badgeless grille.

I was happy with the progress and the way it looked however i had some wheels and coilovers that i bought before i got the car and was getting impatient.
It then looked like this

Also have a jabba air filter and heat shield to fit when i get time.
Still loads of plans just need to start saving again.

Hopefully have the bonnet resprayed soon so it will look a bit like this

Also have a smoothed boot on its way soon.

Then i want to lower it a bit more all round and fit some spacers on the rear wheels. Hopefully get a miltek resonated system with discreet tailpipes so it will be hidden as the standard one is now, with a remap later this year.
There are other small bit i want to do such as flat blade wipers and change the wood effect parts on the dash which i will get round to eventually.

Thanks for reading

Joe.

I have looked at the r32 bit but just cant justify spending £250 for a couple of handle and dash parts so think i will get the plain plastic handles and the dash parts sprayed gloss black.
Thanks for all the positive comments

As said before mate, looks great

Take a look at delocking kits, Anni skirts (I can't tell if you ahve them or not), Anni mirrors perhaps

Think the back would look good debadged with a Sharan VW badge tbh, woudl suit the smooth style you are goign for

I paid 5000 for the car standard. Just been serviced and MOt'd before i bought it and taxted till december.
Ye i have ordered one of the delocking kits should be here soon. Its going a bit lower soon and im not sure i would get over speecbups with the anni skirts. I hopefully have a smooth boot on the way with a heavy duty solenoid.
