Got a Philips FWM589 but I've blown a resistor on one of the amps.
Philips them self won't tell me what size of resistor to use (claim they don't know) yeah rite!!

Does the resistor not say on it?
Can you not measure a similar looking one as a starting point and go from there?

It's a blank resistor, no colour coding or bands on it pain in the arse

Yeah there could well be actually, I'll have a look at that. It has a split amplifier so hopefully the other one hasn't blown

There is a dude on Talk Audio that appears to be some kind of Philips legend.
Worth asking him maybe?
