I've had a problem with my R6 gearbox for months but as it was my only vehicle I've not been able to sort it as I needed the bike for work. Finally I have my car and the bike back so this weekend the R6 is being stripped completely for a new 04 gearbox. The 99-02 R6 has a very weak 2nd gear so it'll only go again anyway. The 03-04 gearbox is absolutely superb and a direct fit so it'll feel like a new bike.  All the gaskets have been bought, and I'm gunna give it a service too (valves, oil, filters, air filter, plugs, etc). To say I'm excited is a slight understatment. I'm fookin' creaming thinking about being able to wheelie in 1st gear and be able to knock it through the box without worrying about 2nd gear popping out and me slamming down to my death a ton.  I'm currently lifting the wheel in 1st and then knocking it straight through to 3rd which is incredibly difficult! 
...and I have a visitor staying with me on Friday night... A certain young lady from this forum, believe it or not. 
Oh and before the weekend, I've booked Thursday off work as my mate is doing a track day at Brands Hatch so I'm gunna take the 400D and 70-200mm zoom lens out for a play and see if I can get any decent shots. A few guys off another forum I'm on are going to so it should be a pretty decent day.

Saturday, im working 12 till 4, go and see the GF, come home have my tea come on here and then go to bed basically and on sunday im off out with my mates

Saturday out in Newcastle for a mates Birthday, should be a messy one.
Sunday will be spent recovering with comfort food from the Chinese and perhaps a DVD with the Missus

Yup, and the fact he wants to brag about changing gearbox and "wheelie" in 1st gear all through the gears, its just another attention seeking ploy.

I have fuck all planned, hopefully see the missus one night and then gonna stay in and be sensible the rest of it, I have made a vow to not drink for the rest of august, we'll see how that goes
Oh my mates are booking a holiday 2nd week in sep aswell and one of them has said he'll lend me the money so I might be booking that but not 100% sure I can afford it tbh.
