Goes well in the lanes too - its only got a small turbo in it but due to that, it winds up really quickly and in third it pulls from about 2000RPM.

I see a couple of 5 door 1.6/1.8 but no 1.8T Sports around my way and certainly no 3dr
I'm currently averaging 42.2mpg; thats over the last 10 weeks as well - its a competition to get it as high as possible.
most I've had out of a tank is 490miles over 16hours of driving!
I'm liking the chequed interior in yours though; mines just black cloth; the facelift lamps make a difference if you can get a set cheap enough

Mines an S Plate - late 1998.
Like you said though Lee - the paint comes up really well, a few more layers of wax and it should be a beaut. Bumper should be done tomorrow and back on on Thursday hopefully. The interior is quite nice, I got a rattle from the glove box that has to go though
