As some of you may know i am going to be on Scrap Heap Challenge.
So 4 weeks ago we got a design brief which was "Monster Golf" we had to build somthing which could play golf. We was told there would be 3 events being
- Distance on a single shot
- Number of Hits to the hole
- Closest/Accuracy to the hole on a single shot
So we set out building and the final work night was yesterday which we finish and are happy with the result.
On testing last night we found the arm being to powerful and it was ripping an bending the 1" x 2" box section of the arm so had to change a few thigns and re-enforce alot more.
Very happy with how it has turned out and trust me it can hit a ball
Air tanks are running at 10.4bar and with the air ram we made which dosent take much to fill i am sure we can do well.

If i havent already said are team name is "The Garage Widows"

We are competeing/filming the final event on the 24th august.

On scrapheap you're supposed to build it at the scrapheap not in your garage?
