is that just you playing with mates or the actual league? i'm not sure how long its been about but they started in our local a few weeks ago. think its a league from each pub over ten weeks and the top 2 go into a regional final. winners from there go into a national tournament that is televised.

There's loads of leagues. I play in a couple. Don't think either are the England poker league though.

Maybe with friends mostly for money but then, at the Casino in Blackpool
