They could of captured it if they put more effort in to it.

Could of used a net trap when it went into the town. And like Kyle T said, they had line to shoot but not tranqulize!

why not just shoot the jar with an air rifle or something?
would scare the shit out of the bear, but at least it's be able to eat aftewards.

i'm aware of that but it hasn't eaten or drank for a week so will be weak as fook. its gonna be scared shitless if a group of riot police turn up and approach it.
