Anyone else ever go onto Wikipedia to look at something and end up on there for ages lookign at linked articles 
I just went on there to find out when the next Kasabian album is due out and ended up lookign up Linda Kasabian, then Charles Manson and then Sharon Tate and Roman Polanski... bizarre!

Top tip: Don't copy & paste a single phrase or sentance from wikipedia into your assignments. The tutors notice it straight away .
I copied literally just 5 words from Wikipedia into one of my assignments on the British Raj in India and nearly got kicked out and had to do my assignment again. Was pretty stupid looking back at it.

do this all the time at work, mainly if we've had an argument about some random fact - we look it up to find the winner.
Spent best part of 2 hours reading about world demographics/population the other day

No one should quote from wiki anyway in a essay. Wiki is user driven and dynamic, so firstly not reliable info as anyone could of written anything and could change throughout the life of the essay.

but yes I've done exactly what Rob said, gone on to look up 1 thing and spent hours going from page to page ...
Usually related to say a illness definition or something I never knew and then noticing something related I also don't know or have been interested in and just keep going.

You can use Wiki to find sources to cite though, don't go directly from there, but look at the sources at the bottom. They are usually news articles, books or websites. Speeds things up as you don't have to read the whole book or search around on the web too much to get the work done

But yeah wtf saw 5, 6,7 ?? and T4 Christian Bale wont have the same coolness as arnie though for me

There are lots of articles on Wikipedia that are quite wrong i've found over the years, not allowed to reference anything from there at Uni
