at the weekend i went in to birmingham, and noticed the fuel prices were 114.9p were as by me ( worcestershire ) its 118.9p upwards

same brand fuel stations, just more on fuel..

why is that?

Its common sense though.

Different sites will have different rental and lease costs, different prices from suppliers depending on distance from depot and quantity purchased etc etc

Its economies of scale and regional income differences.

I assume.

I actually get better miles to £X amount with more expensive fuel.

i dont fill my tank up like i should, just bits and bobs for local trips.. but i get a rough idea on how far i can go with what ive put in.
