The frontera 2.2 16v petrol tall block engine. Are any parts of this engine of any use to others? i.e. 2.2 head on a 2.0 block?

Reason i ask is we have a 2.2 16v with a bummed bottom end. Is the top end of any use to others? Lotsa XE rally boys round here.

The 2.2 bottom end fits onto a 2.0 top end so it ought to work vice versa.

wonder if the valves are bigger on the 2.2
