(Wasnt sure if this should go in geek day or house)
I was using a pressure washer today on my car, had been on for about an 45mins-1hour, I turned the car around (was parked on the road) went to do the other side and the pressre was way down
Thought it might be some temp cut off but went to try it just now and its the same. It still is making the usual noise but isn't pumping the water any faster than normal tap pressure.
Any ideas what I could try?
edit: its a JCB 1800 if it helps

Is the tap on?
Is it diesel powered? Have you turned the adjuster on the lance?

I have the same issue with a Karcher I have borrowed.
Motor makes a low level hum when before it used to make a loud noise. Karcher seem to think its an airlock so I should run water through it for 15 mins with it switched off and the lance unscrewed.
Try that.
