first week holiday and i gotta get up early

i think it's a disgrace they advertise as 24 hours a day and don't live up to what they say.

surely they can hire some bosnians to do the shit hours

it's not that they cant get the staff, as there is staff in the building even when it's shut..

it's the trading law's that say they cant be open then - can only open for 6hrs on a sunday iirc

its been the law for pretty much all of your life mate shops arent allowed to open late on sundays

yeah i know, used to work in a supermarket.

was a joke

it's actually only if the store of bigger than a certain size

which is how 7 11 etc used to be open on sunday till late.

the tesco extra's shut at 11pm on sundays, but they don't sell cards

Well my mate had passed his test 2 days and i was round at his and his mum asked him to pop down to tescos for tea bags and shit so we went down there and went in etc and were laughing at something whilst looking for the drinks isle and i saw a skate board lying next to a shelf beside all the bowls and mugs (some kid must have dumped it there) so i ran up and stood on it then i looked about for my mate and couldnt see him so i shouted him and he came round and kicked the end of the skateboard and i fell and knocked all the pots and bowls off the shelf and broke some whilst i was trying to stop myself falling on my arse

found a tesco's extra open and the only card's sold were generic ones
