Scott, shh, the 1.2 16v is a damn sight quicker than the 1.0 12v.

Tbh, the 1.4 8v C2 isnt far off the 1.2 16v Corsa.

Don't dear me, I think i've had more experiance of driving Corsas than you. And I've driven a 1.4 8v C2 - Neo's on here infact. Lots of low down torque but that soon runs out.

107 with a fucked AFM in a 12v? Ohh please, my 1.2 16v wouldn't get to that real speed in it's healthest state. 105mph on sat nav is the top speed of a 16v. Speedo said about 114, so around 9% out.

I expect your 12v was actually under 100 when your mum/dad got that readingg.

the 1.2 16v and 1.0 12v arent going to differ much in price, only an insurance group in it.

The 1.4 16v Sport is going to be much higher quite simply becuase it is a sporty model with a bigger engine.

pow is totally right.....1.2 16v is quicker than a 1.0 12v...a 1.4 8v aint that much quicker than a 1.2 16v...and i got 111mph out of my 1.0 12v, but doesnt really matter how fast you can get, the thing is how quick can it get to that speed because it took me fucking ages to get that speed lol
