a few months ago the crank shaft on my corsa 1.4 gsi went so i am looking to replace the engine. I have seen a 1.0 corsa engine and curious as to whether this would be a straight swap?

The 1.0 engine also comes with electrical power steering.. my current engine 14 sport had no power steering. Would this engine conversion be a simple swap?

would the 1.0 be a simple swap of engines?

No it wouldn't be a straight swap. The engine mounts are different and the ecu are in a different place to the 1.4 engine.
