Jakey: Thanks man, Im looking into getting coilovers for it when the warranty runs out in Feb.
Skylined: Dont think i will be de-badging it just yet, well tbh havent really considered it. Depends if theyre just stuck on or have the holes with pressor clips!

lovely in black
but i take it you invented this ''st styling pack'' and there is no such thing straight from factory. only visibility and technology packs
as said, needs lowering, will look and handle awesome then

Yeah i had ALL grey plastic colour coded which was loads when i got into it, more than you think! Its all around the grilles front and back, boot strip, stide strips, mirrors, grill.
I also got the 17" ST wheels.
I love it, it handles so well as it is! Would you reccomend coilovers or some proper ei-bach lowering springs? (As thats what ford use). What mm springs would you reccomend for good handling?

i had the eibachs on my mk6 zs (35mm front 30mm rear) i believe.
handled beautifully and cheap enough at £100 odd or £75 if you use ford discount.
i wouldn't bother with coilovers personally as they were quite expensive when i looked into them (weitec, kw? etc).
here's how it would look lowered (your's would be lower on the front though as the diesel is heavier than the petrol variant).

i loved that car, if only it was quicker

Very nice!
Who done the side skirts and where you get them?
I thought ZS were lowered as standard 35mm?
Looks very nice in white
I have my corsa project for speed, diesel is so fun to drive though, not slow.
Also are they easy enough to de-badge (just stuck on?) or do they have holes and press clips?
Cheers, really like the white!

The car looks good Doldy. Needs Eibachs and side skirts to finish the look though.
Ben's ST-look-a-like ZS was awesome. I say it all the time, but I wish I'd bought a white ST!

Yeah i need some info on the skirts and how they fit and where you can get them from. Always wanted some!
Will be lowering it when the warranty is out, need to find out how much it needs to go though. I was thinking a little lower than bens maybe?

if you want a little lower than mine get spax 45mm springs. graham88 has them and my st wheels on his red fiesta and it looks awesome.
the badges are stuck on and very easy to peel off (just held on with thin trim tape).
i fitted the side skirts by drilling 10 holes in the bodywork (5 each side) and bought 10 tapper things from ford which attach to the skirts, but tigerseal is easier and less risky really. i bouht them from ford brand new at £100 for both sides.

£100 for both sides is pretty good for new. Just emailed a breaker on eBay who has a black ST he is breaking. If he has them i will get them and just wack them on with some tigerseal as they will be painted already.
Got any pics of grahams 45mm drop on st wheels?

Deano- They are fucking superb to drive honestly. So torquey and nothing else drives like a modern diesel. Modern Diesels are a totally different feel to any petrol cars. These handle so well and grip like fuck as long as you got good tyres (toyo proxes t1-r)!
