Heard this song on the radio today. To be fair, its not that bad, but it still isn't a patch on the original by old Lynyrd Skynyrd

As soon as i heard it, it brough back heaps of good memories from last year and all the road trips and sunday drives we took in the summer.

I'm not that big a fan of the kid rock version. It just reminded me of how good the real sweet home alabama was.

they play it constantly on the radio / tv ... it's really grating on me now.

I love Sweet Home Alabama but this kid rock song is too 'poppy' and shit.

it fucks me off that christian o connel from virgin radio thinks he masterminded an amazing mix whereby it does just turn into lynard skinnard half way through

it's not the same song ffs.
