With that record, I'd say not bad at all.
Currently paying (and due for renewal in August).
12v Corsa B
0 NCB
1 at fault crash
19 at the time
£780.
Be careful with that '04 plate car. According to Parkers, you won't get £35 tax/year. It's 05 or 06 cars onwards iirc.

Drving without insurance -
My boss asked me to some deliverys because we was down a driver, I asked him if I was insured on his car to deliver pizza's, he then asked if I was fully comp on my Corsa, which I was was, so he said i'll be TPF&T on his car.
Delivered a pizza, go pulled, got done
It's not like I was out joy riding, knowing I had no insurance.
Deano - Yeah, I'm going to try and stectch to a 05 plate...

That's less than me with my 1.3 Punto and I have 3 years no claims and nothing on my licence I guess it's the extra 15 bhp they squeezed out of my engine

I was about to say if the tax is the main concern and you're looking at '04 plate Corsa's, you could get an SRi 1.7CDTi. But I guess the insurance will be pretty wank.

We have been able to exploit a flaw from Norwich Union. We were on PAYD insurance, still only paying £30 - £35 a month anyway. They have now stopped the service but allowed us to carry on the policy paying just the base fee of £22.40 a month

Did you get a quote, then say "oh, i'm a member of CS".
I did that before, just to see what the difference was. He said "We can lower it by a pound". Pointless shite imo. But then again, that's not why i'm a premium member.

Ah, I meant, did you get the quote without mentioning the membership, then once he gave you a price mention it and see how much difference it makes...
I used to say i was a CS member first and they said the same "this'll include your 15% discount". That's why I tried gettin a quote first, then telling them, so I could see how much effect it had. That's when I got the "errr, well, we can reduce it by £1".
Seems like balls to me, but if you think it's worked then fair enough
I'm currently insured with them £300 a year
