If anyones considering seeing this anytime soon definately go see it, i saw it last thursday and again last night its by far one of the best films ive ever seen and Heath Ledgers performance is AMAZING!!

Is his performance truely that great or is it the fact he is dead that everyone is scared to say anything bad?

Just wondering, I haven't seen it but will do very soon.

I'll be going to see it, Jonathon Ross said if he hadn't died so tragically young the performance wouldn't be so lauded. He was better in Monsters Ball and Brokeback Mountain apparently.

no forgetting that he is dead, it truly is amazing, his acting is first class, it makes nicholsons joker look tame and camp.

Nicholsons joker was meant to tame and camp, this is a different take on it, much darker. Nicholsons performance was ace.

have heard that its meant to be amazing.. on same level as Godfather II..

really want to see this as he based the joker character on the way some of the graphic novels are written...

like killing joke, dark knight strikes back etc..

really cant wait

nicholsons performance was first class. as said this is a different take on the character so it wont be the same. after all the hype i'm expecting ledgers performance to at least equal that of nicholsons.

it definately equals it if not betters it in some ways as it seems to be a harder character(joker) to play imo
