My last day at my work placement today!!
I arrived early and got them a thank you card and some chocolates - shame we aren't going to finish off our intranet project 
I didn't get paid, but I enjoyed working here non the less! 
That is all

Some friends put a tuna sandwich behind a radiator at school once. It wasn't even the last day

Yea that is the biggest downside - I did try and ask them if I could work here during the summer (until I go back to college 7 weeks) and they said they couldn't afford it

Yea that is the biggest downside - I did try and ask them if I could work here during the summer (until I go back to college 7 weeks) and they said they couldn't afford it
That may have been a test. If you were really keen you'd have continued working/gaining experience for free

Don't forget I am still working weekends...
13 1/2 7day weeks and only get paid for the work I do on the weekends!

Our old Storesman got fired after we found out he was nicking surplus stock and selling it on eBay; not just small items - he sold a outboard motor!
Anyway before the police came to take him away, he got wind of what was happening and shit in a bag; sellotaped it to the underneath of the head of stores chair, then got arrested.
The fucking smell in stores was horrendous, but no-one knew what or where it was for 7 weeks; we though there was a damp problem, so the whole of stores got repainted and new carpets in the office area; jeyes fluid/bleach the lot everywhere to clean it; when they found it it had putrified and turned into a mushy brown/yellow liquid! It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen/smelt
