It's got to that stage.
Anyone got any pics of how they've done it? I'm presuming the best way would to just cut some perspex to fit in the original rubber border.
Any information would be great -- I imagine there's quite a lot of weight sitting there.

Yeah, but I wanna remove it completely to save weight. I can't just vinyl over it as it'll get pushed in. Has no-one cut perspex to fit the original hole and removed the sliders?

"For roof skins, the idea is to cut out most of your original roof sheet metal, leaving about 50mm margin around the edges. The new carbon skin bonds to this. There can be pretty decent weight savings if you have a sunroof, and still worth while otherwise. Many do it just for the carbon looks."
