Right, this is strange that I have such different views to my dad, considering he is the one who has brought me up.
In my opinion, 1 sandwich = 2 slices of bread.
However he thinks 1 sandwich = 1 slice of bread.
So yeah, this doesn't seem like a Southern or Northern thing, so what do you think?
For the record, North is generally anywhere above Watford Gap services on the M1.

Your Dad is obviously feeling the ffects of old age, as 2 pieces of bread makes a sandwich.
Sanwiches have fillings, you cant fill one piece of bread

Yes I think that but when they cut it in half you get two sandwiches as per the triangle packs, sold as 2 sandwiches

1 Slice of Bread is one Sandwich.
2 is two.
If i go and have a sandwich i butter one slice of bread and fold it over, hence one sandwich.
If i want 2 sandwiches I place the 2 slices on together and cut into 2, creating the duplication.
The proper way! Cmon the northerns.

Look on the next pack you see, It's not branded as '1 sandwhich cut in half' or 'half a sandwhich'. It says on the packet 2 sandwiches. I'm not saying I agree with it

2 slice.
When you buy a sandwich from the local petrol station you get 2 slices cut into triangles.....that should be the benchmark!!

I would consider it a sandwich if you stuck something in through it from top to bottom and you touched bread, filling and bread again.

What about a bun?
You cut that in half, therefore its only one slice of bread
