Right, i'm not that confident when it comes to girls and my low self esteem quite often holds me back on making desicions that i normally regret later on...
I've been texting this girl for the past two weeks. We text each other about 25 times a day (thank god for unlimited free texts to O2 numbers)
I would have asked to meet up with her sooner, but we've never really been free (or even in the same town) at the same time, and now that i've left it this late i can't decide if she's actually interested in me, or if she's just texting cos she's bored and we're "mates"
The texts she writes are normally about 3-4 pages long and always signed off with no less than 4 kisses, sometimes 6.
We seems like quite similar people and we share numerous interests including films, going out getting hammered and cars... even ford capris 
I can't figure out how to find out for sure if she does actually like me. Other than just blurting it out, but that just doesn't seem right...
Any advice? Opinions?
Either that, or just tell me to stop being such a girl and do something about it...

Just text her saying "fancy going out sometime then" or "oh i really want to go see ____ at the cinema but no one will go with me"

Ask if she fancies coming out sometime, maybe for a drink if your not confident because you wont feel so nervous. Then once you get chatting either go for some food or off to see a film or something.
If she says she fancies meeting up then ask her what she would want to do, she might be wondering the same thing about you!
Probably best not to ask if she takes it in the shitter yet though. How long have you known her?

just ask her, its the only way youll know how she feels.
Ive known this girl at work for few years, always liked her. Shes just split up with her hubby, started getting a bit friendlier last few weeks, just aksed her outright yesterday, typically she said no but at least i know where i stand now.

Take ownership, look for information and be prepared to find information.
You might not get the answer you want, but that is preferable to not knowing. You're actually not in the worse possible situation. Worse would be that you go out as mates, do the boyfriend thing but then she doesn't consider you together and generally tells you about other lads and plays with your head.
Do what you want to do.

Luke- I've kinda known her for about a year. Well i've known of her, but we just randomly started texting one week... I can't even remember why, but i'm sure she started it.
Its funny, the more i see it all written out infront of me in black and white (excuse the cliche) the more i realise i'm being a twat, and i'm she must be interested!

She's interested in attention. That's not really an indicator as if that were the case, every girl in the world fancies you. Don't assume anything.
I personally think you may have gone too far and she'll come up with some cock and bull about not wanting to spoil the friendship.
Depends if you want to continue polluting the airwaves if you're not in it for you.

i had a similiar situation last week..
pretty much i had all last week off to get away from work and spent most of it at a girl i dated for a week before xmas house
we got pretty close on the couch, she was lay on my alot and fell asleep on me most nights and then we would move to her bed..
i didnt get chance to kiss her
so anyway i had had a really good week with her and explained that and asked what was going on. did she see me as a mate or did she want to see where things went..
and guess what.. im stuck in the friend zone
