Im off on my first holiday abroad with my girlfriend. Was wondering if anyone can give any advice.
Going to paris so what should we do ? Sights that have to be seen at day/night etc ? Eating out ? How much is it and what customs are there i.e. tipping etc ?
And how hard/easy is it to use the underground there as we are flying in and have travel passes for the week ?

1. Ensure you have enough cash
2. Ensure you have a plan of action in case anything goes wrong (e.g. you loose your wallet)
3. Make sure you have a way of contacting someone you know - although be careful the cost of calls/texts is insane (me and my girlfriend ran up £1500 between us )
In terms of what to see - Eifel Tower (obviously), arte de triumph(sp)
Oh and lots of kissing (kiss everyone you meet )

The eiffel tower at day and night is just spectacular.
The lourve (sp) is really nice at night
When all the city is lit up and the fountains are lit up aswel its really romantic to just walk around.

ear plugs will? Why so ?
Yeah lots and lots of walking is planned. A day to the 2 disney parks also. Main aim to relax and let her do a bit of shopping.
Like i said what about restaurants ? How much should i make sure i have to spend for 6 days (only really food and drink) and are there any customs i.e. tip is 5% ?
Also things to do if the weather is crap ?

Eat at the smaller cafes as its a hell of a lot cheaper than high street places.

All depends on the following:
- How much you have to eat?
- Where you go?
- Tips?
I'd take about 50/60 euro's (£40-£47) at least

thats cool then, will be eating in small cafes, her appetite isnt ever massive and if we have something nice for brunch then we wont need much during the day i guess
