Thats a lot of money.

Well they hold the record for the lap at the Ring for its class and tbh with not a lot of money they can be made to be quite quick?

First ever acomplished Corsa IMO

As a small nippy hatch they are 'good' and I imagine they are great fun to thrash the life out of on a track. But its once you have to use one as an every day car you find the faults. Personally I dislike the driving position, lack of feel that you usually get from a hot hatch, awfull visibilty, shoddy build quality... quite like the seats though. But seriously, £17k

Shoddy build quality can happen to any car tho. My mates dad ordered a brand new vxr and had it 6 months. Due to both driver and passenger seat broke. The day he picked it up the exhaust fell off and there was other things wrong also.

So he sold it and got a 1 series Beemer and a supercool bright yellow moterbike.

and another thing worth mentioning about 'ring times' is that the corsa vxr failed to meet the criteria for the supermini class due to its length. So it should have been in the same class as the hot hatches, in which case it was quite slow compared to the competition.
