a standard redtop corsa will not beat a scooby turbo, you hear loads of people saying that there 2.0 corsa is faster. ive had a 2.0 corsa and there not slow but there not as quick as a scoob, well not standard anyway

Stil is amusing when you pass a low spec Impreza and the driver is under the mishapprention that it is a WRX or something

Yeah but I beat a Focus TDCi yesterday on the dual carriageway

They either gave up or decided they were going to hit the van in front if they didn't slow down

I dont care what anyone thinks I can assure everyone that a 2ltr 16v corsa WILL keep in front of a UK spec turbo scooby from a rolling start.

I should know I have done it in my old XE quite a few times

Its out the box thats when the scooby will come into its own

a standard uk 2000 awd Impreza is pretty easy pickings for a healthy 2.0 16v corsa. Its not rocket surgery. ( Science )

Try and STi, or even a WRX and its a bit different.

All classic shape by the way.

Had a 2.0 16v corsa, in varying power levels... 160 -210bhp, and had a standard 320bhp STi TypeR.... no contest on that count. The Impreza was about 5x better in every aspect

Corsasport makes me happy when people with 2.0 corsas think they are faster than properly fast cars

(although fair play redtop, you knew it was a GL)
