Does anyone know where to buy braided hoses for a mocal oil cooler, and what fittings and hoses id need exactly or will that vary for the location of the cooler itself. Im thinking of buying something small like a 10 row after my last track outting which worried me slightly. On ebay they are fairly cheap but are sold alone with no fittings and hoses. Thanks.

do a google search for thinkautomotive

give them a call and they'll sort you out over the phone.

Demon tweeks will be able to supply fittings etc if you can get a decent quality hose elsewhere. You'd just need the hose diameter ( -10 etc). Push on anodised fittings i suppose?

Any idea roughly how much they tend to be per hose, per length? I assume youve dealt with them before. Im only guessing demon tweeks will be the most expensive of them all but a last resort I guess.

Oh also do they make the hoses to order in which case they take a while to arrive?

no, they werent made to order... just cut to length. I think they can build your pipes/fittings for you though... but it isnt exactly hard

I ordered about 4m from them, and have a fair bit left over... Think its about £30 a meter for 22mm (-10 i think)

£173 for a thermostatic cooler with braided hoses. Im not going to risk buying one without a thermostat, is that quite excessive as a whole though?

i used these people for my turbo great service think i used about 1.5 meters in all from the sandwich plate to the front but then ive got myn positioned horizontaly then you just need to figure out what bsp fittings you need
