Having a stress and need your input:
My bike frame in white will not be available for another 6-8 weeks
However they have offered me one in Midnight blue. Due to me going away next week I could get it in time for the trip to France, or I will have to borrow a bike instead and wait for the 6-8 weeks. My worry is that I will miss most of summer without my bike at this rate, but at the same time this is not my preferred choice (although I am starting to like it).
This is a shop of a 6.6 intense turned into an SS with the DT swiss wheels and Fox forks I am having:

This is pretty much how my bike would look in white:

So my question is do a hang on for the white or do I go with the Blue? I do think the white on white does looks like a very young persons bike, and the blue is more sophisticated? Also the whole white thing is the same as cars, everyone is going for them at the minute.
Whats your thoughts?
Cheers

White bike stuff is the latest bandwagon tbh. I'd rather the dark blue frame.

this is my concern as well, but is the blue to boring? My seat is white and black and various other bits have white detail as well, so the blue may look quite cool when all done?

You can always have white brake hoses, that looks fly against a dark frame. Having a contrast is cooler than having it all white imo

Intresting you think that, because I do as well and at nearly 4k I do want to at least feel that I have got a nice bike for my money - I am not sure if the blue gives that feeling though
I have braided hoses so they will stand out a little better like you say

Go dark blue.
Same bike after all, will ride exactly the same. Plenty can be done with that blue frame for style
