that kid looked like he'd just finished school
gutted yes, but at least he came out with £17,500
the way i see it, is that you come with nothing and leave with something so you haven't actually lost anything.

The one the other day, had £100,000 and £250,000 left as the final two. She dealt about £40k i think.
I know what you mean ben, if I was him and was offered I would of taken £17k, fair play to somebody young it's a hell of a lot of money. House deposit and furnishings.

Too many greedy people on the show, but that's entertainment for you.

It would be kinda hard not to be greedy. Just thinking, "It could go either way"
I think i'd be too chicken to gamble with that much cash though.
I wonder if there is an online 'deal or no deal' game.
I'd be interesting to see how things would (hypothetically) turn out if u were on the show...

Deal or no deal style game...
http://www.unoriginal.co.uk/deal-or-no-deal.html
Its quite easy to get carried away.
The offers from the banker were:
$42,000 (no deal),
Then $79,000 (no deal)
Then i wiped out a few big numbers, so down to $74,000 (no deal)
I then wiped out a few small numbers and he offered me $128,000. DEAL!
Opened my box at the end, and there was $300

I think the only point i'd gamble for the £250,000 would be if I had £100k and £250k left. I would be VERY happy with 100k, and imo that would be worth the risk as you win either way tbf

At the end of the day you come with nothing so if you go home with nothing you havent exactly lost anything!
but if I was offered anything over 20K and ended up with 10p I'd be extremely upset. Anything under isnt a massive/life changing amount of cash!
Actually no I'd be gutted either way

I would follow my nose completely and only gamble if I thought it was really worth it. I'd be dissapointed with anything under £15k though

I disagree. For people our age (and yes including you Mr. Wager) anything over £10k is life changing. That is a hefty amount towards a deposit on a house, if not the whole deposit. And a house, is, lets face, the hardest thing yet most important thing to gain in life, imho.
Whittie - I'd gamble between £100k and £250k as well.
I think, in hindsight, he did the right thing in dealing. His back up out of the Power of 5 was £5k. If £15k was still there, I wouldn't have dealt.

10k isn't life changing, 10k wouldn't even pay off your debt deano.
It's better than a kick in the balls obviously but its nothing amazing these days.

If you really want to splash that money on a house then go ahead.
RIGHT NOW its the hardest thing to gain in life because of house prices and the state of the economy. Things will change and hopefully for the better.

I believe £10k is life changing for me after all, it will cut saving time for a deposit for a house, when ever I decide to buy.
Or, I could get a new car and have over £200 every month from now until I graduate, which will save me working in my last year of Uni

I dealt at £104,000
£5k in my box
Thing that makes me laugh about the program is people who think there is some kind of tactic to it!
