not sure about the evo.... about 5 or 6 smashes during the day. It was very wet at times.

The R35 GTR was pretty damn impressive for a supposed 'stock' car

yea! He so nearly rescued that!...

The RCD R35 never really looked that fast through the bends IMO. The quick ones though the 1st corner appeared to be one of the RCD Evo's, the Roger Clark Scoobie and the Zenden (?) Scoobie...all just hammering it them through!

Weather made things interesting tho!

groupB results

The Zen, Autosportif/TEIN and RCM impreza's are in a different league

The R35 GTR just didnt sound fast, but it has heaps of power and ability out of the box. Takes balls to push a 60+k new car round a tricky track like that.

The orange and yellow RC Evo's were going well too. The orange was driven by Jamie Stanley, an instructor at Oulton

Its simply track lap times. There isnt the 'side-by-side' racing that you see in normal circuit races, so theres less risk of damaging the car. You're racing each other, but against the clock...not for track position.

Just means some cars are stomping it around goin for the lap times when others are milling around warming up/down.

Or, in the case of the more highly tuned cars, going in and out of the pits every 5 minutes because they're that unreliable. I saw 3 broken scoobies (blue smoke) and saw an Evo 6 blow its head gasket right in front of me as it dropped a gear into the 1st bend!

Tricky conditions also meant that the tyre walls needed repairing a few times too! Top marks to Fee tho, looked to be quick all day!
