I'm trying to pick a wax to use on my car. Going on a few recommendations at the moment.

Anybody used this yet? Looks dead posh. No reviews yet though...

I was Meguiars Spray Tech Wax. Recommended, and doesn't turn black trim a funny colour until it rains

i used collenites. I put it on my old corsa before trax last year and it lasted up until i sold it last month - water beaded nicely and looked just polished after every wash

Dodo juice is hardly value for money is it? I'd say 18quid for a wax that will easily last up to a year is well worth it.

fair enough mate, the cleaner wax is quite cheap but the supernatural which is 30ml for 15squids is abit pricey!

Same here! very impressed with the dodo juice wax. ive used mine about a dozen times now. and its still 75% full. But mines a hard wax, which lasts longer.

Has anyone used Meguiar's Nxt Tech Wax? I have a couple of those little freebie packets and haven't gotten around to using it yet.

I've not used wax before, so do you basically use it like polish but with your hand?

I have some marks left on my bonnet from when I used T-cut (think I applied it a bit hard ) but when I get them out it'll be wax time

You use it like polish with a cloth the same way you'd use polish.

The people that apply by hand are the people that buy they fancy expensive waxes.

That Meguiars Nxt Tech wax is good. use that often. Just apply it to a damm cotton cloth. Rub. Leave to haze. then polish off

For the price of the AG High Def, you'd be better off getting either Collinite 476s which when applied properly lasts for up to a year ( I put 1 coat on my van in January when I brought it and it still beads perfectly today) or spend a little more and get Dodo.

I don't rate AG much tbh unless you want a polish that'll hide light swirls lol.
