My Dads freind at work has had a corsa VXR for about a month now but took it back to vaux as it wasnt handling right. Vaux seaid there was a seriourr breakage with anti roll bar/end link the later I guess and they wouldnt let him take it back with him.
One of the first weak points of the new corsa? he said he hadnt even ran the engine in yet

The joints you are talking about are torqued to vaux spec deano.
Not heard anything about any major faults with the vxr's yet.

yes, and have seen 3 more since. Local Vaux dealer mechanic confirmed it is an issue but they havent bothered recalling them!
Either the droplink bolt is so tight that it snaps when being undone or so loose that it can be undone by hand

even if that was the cause, it's still no excuse for them to not check everything etc.

Not a chance they're looking under the car at the PDI, you'll be lucky if they don't swap around any bits the fancy.

PDI means put a screenwash sachet in, fit locking wheel nuts, put numberplate on and make sure tyres are inflated. That is all tbh

Wing mirrors are easily removed too, that's another weak point
