a few years ago i was expecting a mobile phone to be delivered but had a 2 minute errand to run. decided to chance it but when i got back home the courier was just about to hop back in his van. i asked him if the delivery was for me and he said yes but he cant give me the item because he's already logged it as an unsuccesful delivery attempt. i had to wait until after 5.30 and then drive 18 miles to go pick it up.

when i told the bloke at the depot about it he said the driver could have left me the parcel if he wanted to. he was just being a twat.
