On my Golf.
Just about to whack standard rear lights on. Just put UK plates on... anything else I should be looking out for?

I only booked it in this morning. The MOT isn't due til the 26th, so I'm getting it done early to leave me plenty of time to sort out.
Tyres all have PLENTY of tread, a bit of scrubbing but they're okay.
Lights should be good, they're standard all round. However, I do have yellow headlight spray on at present though.
The car's great, I can see it passing without trouble.. just a bit weary of emissions because it's running a bit rich but I hope they'll be fine.

Check your front wipers work and all your lights work.
What reg is the Golf, it shouldn't have an emmisions test.

Mobby, it's not too bad. The wall isn't damaged I don't think, however I have a set of steelies with brand new tyres that I can put on if it's a problem.
Jake it's a J reg, early 1992. Tell me it doesn't have an emissions test!

I did! But apparently it could be down to the fact it's running on 3 cylinders. It has been a bit stodgey over the past month or so.
Could this be causing it to overfuel and will new plugs and leads do the trick?

You are aware though, that now everything is computerised, your current MOT certificate will also be nulled due to the fail on the test you just took...
