.... Removing Swirl marks and just generally tidying up the paintwork etc?

I can't afford to pay to have the car re-sprayed! I can't see it as being feasible tbh heard it costs £800 the car is only worth a bit more than that

My mate told me to have a look at this stuff

Clicky - It's the Meguiars Deep Crystal 3-step solution if you can't be arsed too look!

Is it any good?

best way is a good mop..we use this stuff at work called "G3" comes in Medium compound and Strong...can be used by hand aswell but def better with the mop

I just use autoglym super resin polish, then megiurs carnuba wax and my car is swirl free, although i keep it well waxed.

Hobbyest detailer would be your best bet. I'm in Wiltshire this weekend as i'm visiting a friend up there, i could of detailed your car for you.

I tried the Meguiars stuff, and didn't really rate it.

My missus' black metallic Fiesta needed a bit of TLC at the weekend. I didn't go mad, but washed, then used AutoGlym Super Resin Polish and a lot of the swirl marks were out etc. I only used a sponge and 1 bucket.

My advice for doing it on the cheap, is.
2 bucket method washing with a mitt, not sponge.
Dry.
AutoGlym Super Resin Polish.
Done
